You Can See Real Results With Strength Training

See Real Results With Strength Training

Mayra came to me, like a lot of people, wanting flatter abs and to drop a certain amount of weight. Mind you, she is gorgeous, she’s not overweight, but has an idea of how she wants to look. That’s good.

I knew, however, that to keep her as a client I would have to build trust with her. I needed her to trust me when I told her that the scale wasn’t going to tell the whole story and that changing her body composition (building muscle) should be her goal.

The first month with new clients is crucial, both for me and for the new client. They want to see results, and they want to see them now. Honestly, I believe that if she had not gotten her second month for free by bringing in 2 referrals that she wouldn’t have stuck around. A lot of people don’t stick around to see real results with strength training. I’m glad she did.

    Text Messages with Mayra

Not only is it a pleasure to have her in my boot camp, but by talking to her, building a relationship with her and meeting her husband, I’ve come to enjoy talking to her about life in general.

    So, how is she doing?

Well, after 3 months she’s only lost 6 pounds. To people who don’t know what weight loss is really about this may seem crazy. You might ask, “why does she continue to pay $149 a month when she’s only lost 6 pounds?”

She continues to come because she’s beginning to see real results with strength training.

    Mayra’s Measurements after 3 months

    • 1/2″ in her arms
    • 3-1/2″ in her chest
    • 4″ in her waist
    • 3-3/4″ in her hips
    • 1/4″ in her thighs

This is all done without a treadmill, a diet or supplements. Just 3-4 days a week of strength training and eating throughout the day to speed up her metabolism.

When she first started, she struggled quite a bit doing a dumbbell press with 15 pounds. Now, she’s pushing up 20 pound dumbbells without much spotting. That’s progress!

Mayra’s not perfect. She never hesitates to tell me when she had a bad weekend with her eating. Bad weekends happen to everyone. It’s all about consistency and getting back on the wagon when you fall off.

She’s doing awesome! I look forward to seeing her every morning (as with all of my clients) and I look forward to seeing her achieve even more.

Gracias, Mayra, for being a client!

You should meet another client, Tamika!
