    More On the Line With This Fat Loss Challenge

    This will probably be the best fat loss challenge I’ve done at my boot camp. In the past I’ve given away up to $100 cash to winners. This time I’m giving away a little more. There’s more on the line with this fat loss challenge. It’s a six week challenge where the participant with the best results will get 2 months of free boot camp.

    Not just about weight

    The results won’t be based solely on weight loss. Reduction in body fat will also be a factor. It’s possible for someone to maintain their weight throughout the 6 weeks and still win. How is this possible? If they maintain their weight and still win you would assume that either no one else is participating or they gained lean body mass.

    If I had to guess, I’d say that the winner will be the person with the greater reduction in body fat. I base this assumption on results that most people in my boot camp get. I wrote an article about how one of my clients only lost 10 pounds in 4 months, but cut 6 inches off of her waistline. Check it out here.     I think it’s safe to assume that body fat will be the key.

    Nutrition will still be the biggest challenge

    I cannot stress this enough to any of my clients. It doesn’t matter what we do during our sessions or how hard they train, if they have bad eating habits they will see diminished returns on their efforts.

    I will still be issuing nutrition challenges throughout the week to keep them on point. I will also keep stressing the usage of MyFitnessPal to help them to recognize opportunities and make changes where necessary.

    For some, the training will go beyond what we do during our sessions. Some people will have to train themselves to eat breakfast. Some will have to train themselves to break away from their work and have lunch.

    The struggle is real!
