I always preach to my clients the importance of a warm up that focuses on their lower body.
It doesn’t hurt to spend a few minutes before and after your workout to take care of your problem areas.
- 5 minutes on the elliptical or rower
- then spend 3 to 5 minutes with the foam roller
- spend 3 to 5 minutes extending your knees over the foam roller with your toes pointed towards the ceiling
- spend 1 to 2 minutes with the band stretch
